Stand Up Paddleboarding


Standup Paddleboarding (SUP) is one of the world’s fastest growing sports today. An accessible, easy to learn, fun core workout for older children to veteran adults. The SUP season runs from late May to late September, with SUP locations around the Quinte West & PEC areas. All equipment & instruction is provided for each program.

 

 

1-hour Group SUP Lessons & Tours: Learn to SUP, Beginner to Intermediate, and 4-week SUP series

Depending on the program, participants in our private or group lessons will learn everything from proper stance, balancing, paddling techniques, and manoeuvring, to paddling efficiency. Our learn to sup program is for complete first timers, while our beginner to intermediate SUP lessons are for those with a little more confidence on the water. Our intermediate classes are for those looking to gain more skill and that have already been SUP’ing before.

Children ages 12 and up are welcome to join these programs on their own board, while children below 12 are asked to either accompany a parent/guardian on their board (size/weight dependant) or book a customized family program. Some of our favourite locations for these programs include: Little Lake, Wellington Bay, Roblin Lake, North Beach and the Trent Severn. $35+hst per adult for small groups for one-hour lessons.

 

Private Groups: from corporate functions to birthday parties to Bachelorette’s and everything in-between

Tourist SUP Lessons/Tours

Fitness + SUP = SUPFit

A full-body, functional land & SUP water based workout for 45 mins of heart pumping, muscle building awesomeness! In the winter we run this popular program at the Quinte YMCA and in the summer we are outdoors on the Trent Severn in downtown Trenton. Pre-registered series, drop-in classes and monthly membership options program dependent.
